Will this wall station work with my garage door opener model?

On the back of your garage door opener motor (attached to the ceiling in your garage) there should be a silver sticker which has the model number of your garage door opener written on it. Look for your model above.

If you have a remote control check on the back of it for the frequency number. It should say 372 somewhere on it.

You can look at the color of the antenna wire coming out of the powerhead unit to determine the frequency. For 372 Mhz frequency the antenna wire color is - Single wire - yellow. Two wires - yellow and white

Ask a Question
  • Is Wayne Dalton going to come out with wall controls that will have a learn button or upgrade the program button to a program/learn button in the future? Also would like to see the wall controls go wifi that connects directly to existing in home wifi.

No, Wayne Dalton no longer manufactures motors or anything related. There is nothing new in the pipeline.

  • How do I program remotes with the program button on this unit?

You have to use the learn button on your motor to program remotes and other devices. Please reference the instructions for your remote control.

  • I have i-drive 3652-372, will this work with my unit?

    Yes it is compatible.

  • Have wall station Model 5BWS-A372 U . Won\'t operate garage door. Have changed battery - still doesn\'t work. Will still operate with transmitter. Solution??

Replace the wall station. 311365 Wireless Wall Station is the correct replacement for your 5BWS.

  • I have a broken model 3977-3720S multifunction wireless wall station (manufactured 42 06. This one looks exactly like it. Will it work?

Yes it is the correct replacement. It is compatible.

  • Do you happen to have the right battery door available for purchase for this item? Mine is missing

Unfortunately parts like that are not sold separately. You would have to purchase the whole wall station.

  • There was no power, I put in new battery\'s and still no power. I am to hit something when I put the battery in. Or what is wrong?

If the wall station still doesn't work after replacing the battery, you probably need to replace the wall station. It should work without any additional steps once you replace the battery, if that was the issue.

  • Once I replace this wireless wall remote for my wayne dalton pro drive model number 3224C-Z, along with new batteries, do I need to do anything else in order to make it compatible with my pro drive garage door motor? Or should I be able to open my garage door as soon as batteries are in the remote opener?

You will have to program it with the instructions included and then it will work.

  • I have a multi-fuction wireless wall station model 3977-372C. This looks like it would be the correct replacement model, but I wanted to confirm before purchasing. Is this the correct replacment?

    Yes this is compatible.

  • How do I get instructions on how to work this? Moved into this home and had no directions.

    Here you go -

  • I have an old wireless door unit. It\'s model WD-5BWS-A372 U. Would WD-311365 work as a replacement?

This is the only wireless option available to replace that model.

  • Will this work for a replacement for 5bws-a372u?

  • How do I program this new No.327314 to my existing door which was operated by the same type poor working wall station?

    Download instructions here

  • I have a wall station Model 5BWS-A372U. After going thru the programming steps, then press the open button, it beeps 5 times while the light flashes. I changed battery and programmed and got the same result. Will it operate with a new transmitter or is the motor the problem? I did not see this specific symptom in Wayne Dalton's troubleshooting documentation. Thank you.

Based on the idrive manual troubleshooting guide symptom: Opener does not respond to wall station or transmitter. Opener chirps 5 times and opener lamp blinks. Wall station is in ‘Door Lock’ position. Move slide switch on wall station to ‘Normal’ (unlocked) position.

Based on your model of wall station, it doesn't have this function so I am not sure what is causing that issue. It may just be that your wall station is going out and needs to be replaced with a newer model. I can't guarantee that will solve the issue, but it would be my best guess.

  • Does the WAYNE DALTON WIRELESS DELUXE WALL STATION 311365 327314 work for double garage doors. Can I open and close each door separately with this wall station?

You can only program one motor per wall station. You would need to purchase two wall stations for that situation.

  • I have a Wayne-Dalton Prodrive —model #(3220C series). The wall consule is worn out — Is the new consule — (WD 327314) compatible for that garage door opener

Yes it is the correct compatible replacement for that model.
