Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • Does this product come with the white wire pre-soldered to the back of the board?

Everything is attached as pictured on this product page. The antennas are on the top of the board.

  • My control board says MODEL #306131SR. Is this the same board? And what does the \"SR\" on my board mean?

I am not sure what the SR stands for, but this is the correct replacement.

  • Is the control board 306132 the same that the control board 306131? Can the control board 306132 be used for the Wayne Dalton ProDrive Model 3220C garage door opener?

Yes it is the same board and the correct replacement for that model.

  • Do you have replacement control boards for the Wayne Dalton ProDrive Model 3220C garage door opener?

Yes, this is the correct board for your unit.

  • Does this circuit board fit a Torque master door Model 3663-372? other numbers on unit, PN 293387P4 dom 0307. Torque Master IDrive Wayne Dalton lift. If I need a motor for this unit ,where can I get?

No, it is not compatible. All idrive boards are out of production and there are no replacements made for it. Same story for the motors too.

  • Is the 372Mhz Motor Control Board compatible with the Wayne Dalton iDrive Model 3652-372?

No it is not compatible. The board for your unit is no longer made and there are no replacements available. You might check ebay.

  • Will this new board enable the unit to work with remote control in autos, homelink programming?

It should if you use a 372mhz remote control with it. You will have to double check your homelink compatibility with that frequency.

  • I have two openers. A 306131SR and a 327320. Will this board wok on both or one of these?

This board is the replacement for both those models.

  • Will this board work with a Quantum 3212?

    Yes it is compatible.

  • Does this board work with the 37661-372 idrive? Mine has the potentiometer.

No it does not work for an idrive unit. The control boards for idrives are no longer made. There are no replacements available.

  • Will this work on pro drive model 3220C?

    Yes, it is compatible.

  • Is this board HomeLink compatible?

This will make your unit compatible with built in car remotes operating 372Mhz. You will have to switch all your wireless devices to 372Mhz to work with this board.

  • My prodrive 3220c used to open a remotely a long way from the door, now I have be right in front of the door to open it it doesn\'t matter if I use the home link in my car or just the button. I replaced the battery in the button control. I wonder if the control board could be defective?

If you are having range issues, check out this limited range support article for a troubleshooting guide - http://support.waynedaltonparts.com/support/solutions/articles/3000033497-limited-range-of-remote-controls

  • I have a control board #306131 will the board you have #306132 work in it\'s place?

Yes this is the only replacement for that board.

  • Is this board plug and play or do I need a soldering iron?

It is plug and play. No special tools needed.

  • Don\'t understand how the board can be both 303 & 372MHZ simultaneously. Do you have to specify one or the other when ordering?

It is automated based on the devices you use. If you have 303 remotes, the 303 frequency works. If you have 372 remote, the 372 mhz works.

  • So the WD-306132 operates at 303MHZ if I am using a 303MHZ remote, and at 372MHZ if I am using a 372MHZ remote. Does that mean that if I use one 303MHZ remote and one 372MHZ remote, both remotes will operate the garage door opener?

I believe that the frequencies may conflict if you try to use both.

  • I have a Wayne Dalton Pro Drive opener ,it used to open about 500 feet from the door, now I have to be right in front of the door to open it, I have a button in my vehicle and also a the remote that comes with the unit, it does not matter which one I use the both will not open the door unless I am right in front of the door,a dealer told me I need a new control board?

Change your batteries in the remote(s). And make sure your antenna wire is extended. If that doesn't work try the steps describes here for limited range issues - http://support.waynedaltonparts.com/support/solutions/articles/3000033497-limited-range-of-remote-controls

  • Will this work in the Quantum 3213 Model?

    Yes

  • Will this item replace part #298442. 303 MHz on opener 3016?

    Yes it will.

  • My model 3014 opener losses is memory a few days after linking it to my remote. After linking it again it works fine for a few days. Is there a battery on the board that may need replacement? How does it retain it\'s remote code? Is there a schematic available for the control board?

There is no battery on the board. If it doesn't work correctly, that probably means you need to replace it.

  • Does this board accept 303 and 372mhz transmitters out of the box or is there additional programming to the board to do one or the other?

It works with either based on the frequency of the devices you program to it. No special setup or programming other than the basic syncing of the device.

  • If I purchase a motor control board and it does not resolve my problem, can I return it?

No, returns on control boards are not accepted.

  • Is this the control board for the \"Quantum\" series 3213 / Model 3000 motor opener made and sold in 1999/2000?

Yes. It is the correct replacement.

  • How can I check if this is malfunctioning? I tried everything else in my 3412: the lights worked, the LED flashed when the controls were pressed, the safety beam was not obstructed, etc., etc. Is there a continuity test or the like that I can use to determine if this is good before I spend 70 non-refundable dollars?

There isn't a specific test to be sure the control board is bad. This is the symptoms of a bad board according to the manufacturer - "All of my electronic devices (transmitters, wall station, key pad) quit working at one time and LED on side of unit does not flash and devices will not program back to operator. Motor Control Board has failed. Replace board."

  • On the power head of one of my model 3212 units, the programming switch button is flakey. I don\'t feel any movement when pushing straight onto switch. To get the red LED to come on, I have to push the plastic switch protrusion slightly off to the side. Do you sell just this switch?

Unfortunately no. Individual pieces are not available separately.

  • Will this control board work with an Idrive opener?

No, it is not compatible. They no longer make boards for idrives either.

  • Will this work on my Qauntum 3316 garage opener?

    Yes it is compatible.

  • Will this board work with 303 MHz and home link?

This board does operate the 303Mhz frequency and the 372Mhz frequency. It is our understanding that only 372Mhz is homelink compatible. It will work with homelink, but only at this frequency. You may not be able to use both frequencies at the same time, and you would need a 372Mhz remote to setup the homelink for your car.

  • I have a Quantum mod.# 3214 opener. How can I test the motor control board (part #306132) to verify operational integrity? I have replaced batteries in two separate transmitters, but neither will operate the opener. The wireless keyless entry button and the wall station button will operate the opener. Any suggestions?

We recommend checking the troubleshooting guide in the back of your opener manual. There will be opener specific information and steps to take to determine if your control board is defective.

  • Can this board be used to make the quantum model 3000, series 3213 compatible with homelink?

Yes, but only when used with 372 Mhz devices. You will have to replace your keypad and get a new remote in the 372Mhz frequency. 300643 - remote. 306134 - keypad.

303 Mhz is not a homelink compatible frequency (in most cases), and in order to sync your car the board must be operating 372 Mhz devices only.

  • Where do I find the model number of opener to order the right board?

The model number of your opener should be located somewhere on the body of the unit. Usually on the back cover that houses the control board underneath.

Compatible with the following Wayne Dalton garage door openers.
    Wayne Dalton Quantum - all models 3211, 3212, 3213, 3214, 3312, 3313, 3314, 3316, 3412, 3414

  • Do you have a control board for a model 3018 will that solve the problem that it will not stop on bottom?

This control board will work for your unit - Wd-306132  You should reference the troubleshooting guide on our help section for technical issues. We can't diagnose the problem or offer a solution.

  • How do I know the Control Board is my problem? During our cold snap here in Michigan the door would not open or shut; It showed it had power and it tried to work, but wouldn\'t. After the cold snap the door has been working great, so I tried setting the Open and Closing Force button and for a while it worked perfectly and then it quit working. After about an hour I tried it several more time and it finally worked again, but with the Force button set mid way.

We recommend checking the troubleshooting guide in the back of your opener manual. There will be opener specific information and steps to take to determine if your control board is defective.
