Can't believe we didn't install the Wireless Entry Keypad sooner. SUPER easy to program and install. After we installed it, we recognized the additional safety benefit-- we no longer need to leave our garage door open for my younger son to go in and out of the house and we no longer need to hide a key outside. |

My pad arrived and I had it set up and working in less than ten minutes. It works flawlessly and set up is a breeze. I highly recommend this keypad for anyone that needs an outside access to their garage in case of lock out or need to enter through garage but key remote is not available.
The new key pad was here in less than a week from on-line order. |

Our original Wayne Dalton keypad appeared to be giving out; it was a KEP2 that was installed at the time the house was built. I tried to order that keypad, but it is no longer made. The KEP4 seems to work well, very similar to the KEP2. I was having my door opener serviced, so I had the technician install the KEP4, so I cannot comment on how easy/difficult it is for someone like me with "nothing but thumbs" to install. |

We had the Wayne Dalton 5 key pad wireless entry keypads and HATED them. They never worked properly and we'd have to reentry the code many many times to get it to work. The Wayne Dalton 10 key pad works perfectly. It was worth every penny to switch. |

I replaced the older model because high winds had torn the cover off exposing it to the elements. This newer model has a better hold down mechanism and hopefully will sustain the winds.
Easily mounted and easy to program. Working fine controlling 2 overhead doors. |

Both were up and running in a couple of minutes. Couldn't be simpler. This one uses a 9-volt battery and is much better than the original unit--it's a battery I have on hand! |

Working within 5 minutes of opening the box. It was even nicer than the original keyless pad that my opener came with. The big plus was that it uses a 9 volt battery and not an expensive hard to find one. Shipping was fast. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. |

This control is much better than the KEP-2 it replaced. The lid holds in position better and the lighting of the keys appears to be brighter.

Overall love it. Just feels better than its predecessor (KEP2). We purchased this to replace a KEP2 we've had for about 8 years worn down from two kids. The only downside is the upper mounting hole is not in the same vertical location as the KEP2 and I was told they were - this one is actually shifted to the side whereas the KEP2 was in a straight line with the lower hole. Not that it's a big deal, but I had to drill a new hole to mount. Purely a cosmetic thing otherwise 5 stars. |
