This item should have came with the door originally. Had problems with cables every since I had the door. Had to get replacement cables and drums through warrantty once and these weren't even mentioned. Instructions for installing these was in in the original owners manual. |

Purchased item due to the cable losing tensing and getting tangled due to the door being closed by my wife on our van's hatch. Once the cable was tangled it destroyed the cable drum wraps and jammed the door open. Appears to maintain better tensing and have not had a problem but have not tested the door closing on the car hatch (for obvious reasons). Item did not come with instructions so I did not rae it 5 stars; took some time to find the instructions on the site. |
