Wayne Dalton 5-Button KeypadSlim-line, wireless keyless entry pad inspired by automotive keyless entries. The unit features a five-button vertical keypad and rounded edges on the enclosure, creating a contemporary look that enhances the aesthetic value of a homeowner's garage door. The user interface is simple. A red light flashes for every keystroke of a five-button personal identification number (PIN). Once entered, the unit flashes as it sends the move command to the door. The keyless pad is capable of controlling hundreds of doors by entering a different PIN for each one. Since it is a wireless unit, the need to run bell wire or power to the door jamb is eliminated, making it fast and simple for the do-it-yourselfer.

I am 71 years young and installing the 5-button keypad was extreemly easy. The item was shipped immediately and received as ordered. The instructions were easy to read and the keypad connected to my Wayne Dalton door opener at once. Programing was easy and worked the first time with no effort on my part. My door openers (2) have been in operation for over 4 years now with no problems. |

I replaced an existing one that would work off and on. I bought the house 6 months ago, and it is a little over 5 years old, so reading the other reviews, guess that is how long to expect this one to last. I had no problem replacing it myself and programming it. It works great. I guess I will be back in 5 years for a new one..Thanks for the fast delivery and easy instructions. I am a 63 year old woman, so you know how easy it was. It was also the least expensive of all I found online. |

The WD 5-Button Keypad is easily installed and connected to the iDrive opener. It is also easy to program and works well. This is the third keypad, though, that I have had with this opener. They seem to have about a 3-4 year lifespan. |

The product is good. Easy to install and program.
Only challenge was understanding the open/close sequence: if you open the door with the key device, you could close the garage door punching the programmed code. However, this reverts the open/close sequence, garage door opens by touching one button on the keypad and to close need to enter the programmed code.
Therefore, to correct the open/close sequence: need to close the garage door with the key device, open with the programmed code with the keypad and close by touching any button on the keypad. |
