Tec-Key 1-Button Remote Control Transmitter 1010
Single button transmitter (remote control) for garage door opener models using Martec Tec-Key receivers.
NOTE: This remote control does not work with Multi Code radio receivers even though the frequency is the same. Please select from the Multi Code Products Page and order a Multi Code remote control if you have a Multi Code radio receiver. Tec-Key remotes only work with Martec Tec-Key receivers. Tec-Key 2000 seriesSince the Wayne Dalton Wizard 2113, 2115, and Challenger 9300, 9500 garage door opener models were originally sold with several different types of radio receivers, it may be difficult to determine which type you have and recommend the correct remote controls that will be compatible with your garage door opener. Due to this fact we are recommending that your purchase a new add-on radio receiver and remote control so that you can be assured it will work. We call it the
HomeLink Conversion Kit since it will also make your garage door opener compatible with the HomeLink built in remotes in late models automobiles.
For those who wish to attempt to determine the Tec Key 1010 compatibility with Wayne Dalton Wizard 2113, 2115 and Challenger CH-1000 series, 9300, 9500 models, please look for a combination of the following features:
- No external radio receiver box
- Black antennae wire coming out of powerhead itself
- Remote controls you currently use say Tec Key 2000 series on them and look like the model pictured.
If all of these features are not present, you may want to also look at the
Multi-Code and
Liftmaster remotes for compatibility.
