I received the part for my garage door opener. I actually ordered more than I needed, but that made it easier to install.

I ordered the gear and sprocket kit to replace one that really fell apart - after 17 years of use... Took about 40 minutes total to install, including removing the broken one. It took like 30 more minutes to readjust the garage door open and close stops. Works great. |

We did it! Wejust needed to replace the sprocket and the shaft. But still had to take most of it apart. The 18 step by step below was so helpful, as was another that gave his simple solutions. We had to put the last screws in from the top so hope that doesn't interfere with chain ... but so far it looks OK. Actually better than before it broke. |

Tried to fix a worn-out shaft and bearing with hardware store parts. Not a good idea! Broke the shaft on the first cycle & shrapnel everywhere! This is the right stuff to buy, and a great place to buy it.... |

The delivery was speedy with the correct part that I needed. The only drawback was that the mounting holes were not threaded as the original was. Not a big deal where I just replaced the screws with nuts and bolts.I still give a 5* for the service and product. |

Great service guys. This was the exact part I needed for my B&D CAD4. Contacted a local Australian supplier (www.nationalgaragedoorsopeners.com.au) and they couldn't even be bothered responding to my order. Ended up costing A$75 landed in Australia within a week, compared to local price of A$98. |
