This is the fourth time that I have used Wayne Dalton Parts to order gears and other parts for my garage door opener. The price is good, the parts arrive quickly, the quality of the parts is good and they are always the correct part. |

Everything worked as planned. My appeal to ordering this kit was the main spindle was already assembled with the gear. I didn't use all of the parts. |

Product arrived quickly, and installation was easy.
My opener was installed in 1997, I also discovered the grease on the slide bar was gummy and dirty. The old grease was not making it slide easily, but creating some additional lift drag.
I was lucky enough to have a Sears close by and purchased door opener grease. I cleaned off the old grease and the new grease greatly reduced the lift resistance.
Hopefully, this will improve the life of the repair. |

I had been waiting two weeks for my local Sears store to stock this item. I finally gave up and did an on line search. WayneDalton not only had the part for less money they had it in stock and I received it in just 3 days. The parts fit perfect and had easy to follow directions. I'm very happy! |

I ordered the gear and sprocket kit to replace one that really fell apart - after 17 years of use... Took about 40 minutes total to install, including removing the broken one. It took like 30 more minutes to readjust the garage door open and close stops. Works great. |

We did it! Wejust needed to replace the sprocket and the shaft. But still had to take most of it apart. The 18 step by step below was so helpful, as was another that gave his simple solutions. We had to put the last screws in from the top so hope that doesn't interfere with chain ... but so far it looks OK. Actually better than before it broke. |
