Parts And Accessories For Challenger Garage Door Openers
Challenger CH-1000 series, 9100, 9300, 9500 Remote Controls
How to determine which one you need (Please read prior to ordering):
Older model Challenger garage door openers were originally equipped with several different types of radio receivers and remote controls some of which are no longer made. If you have a remote control that works with it look for the make (multicode, Tec-key, liftmaster, linear), model number (3089, 2010, 2020, 61lm, etc), and the frequency (300mhz, 310mhz, 390mhz).
If you have a remote control for your garage door opener, look at the pictures of remote controls listed below to find one that looks very similar to yours. Click on the picture and look at the section on the product page called "Compatible with these Models" to determine compatibility with your Challenger garage door opener.
If you cannot see the radio receiver or are not sure it is the same one we have pictured, we recommend that you install a new radio receiver/transmitter. The new radio gear will also make your garage door opener HomeLink compatible and features the new rolling code technology for added security. The one we recommend is our Universal Remote Control Kit. It is quick and easy to install. Since it is an add-on receiver, you can continue to use any remote controls and keypads that are currently working with your garage door opener. For further information on the Universal Remote Control Kit please click on the link or select HomeLink in the menu on the left side of your screen.
